Health Visitors
Our Health Visitor’s offers health advice and support mainly to families with young children. This includes help with parenting and behaviour management and also support to women with Post Natal depression. They also see children for development checks.
There are immunisation clinics held at the community wing within the health centre. These clinics are by appointment only and patients will receive their appointment times and dates directly from the Health Board by letter.
Community Link Practitioner
Is here to work with any patient at the practice about any issue and provides a listening ear, signposting or referrals to community resources, and support with barriers to accessing support. To make an appointment please call reception on 0141 211 6080 and they will arrange for Fiona to contact you.
Some of the issues you might discuss with the Community Links Practitioner are:
Housing or money worries, isolation, low mood, anxiety, relationship or family issues, adapting to a diagnosis, employment or volunteering, work related issues, bereavement or loss, living with a disability or health condition, caring roles.
